X Ads MCP server

SeePM is an X Ads MCP server: it connects your X (Twitter) ad accounts to Claude, ChatGPT and any other MCP client, with your own X login. Ask how campaigns and line items perform, look up targeting, promote posts and change budgets. X Ads is on the Starter plan, $20 USD a month.

What you can ask

Plain-language requests, the way you would ask a colleague. The label says which kind of work it is.

  • How did each line item perform last week?Line item analysis
  • Which locations and interests are we targeting?Targeting review
  • Find interest targeting for personal finance.Targeting search
  • Promote this post in the Launch campaign.Change
  • Pause this line item.Change

What it can read and change

As of October 2026, SeePM's X Ads MCP has 25+ tools that read and change, plus a governed request for anything the other tools do not cover.

Reads

Performancestats for campaigns, line items and promoted posts
Structureaccounts, campaigns, line items, funding instruments
Targetingtargeting criteria, custom audiences, interest and location search

Changes

How changes stay safe

  • You decide who changes what. Each tool has a risk level, and your organization sets each level to auto, ask or deny per role. A change on "ask" waits in the approvals queue until a leader of the client or an admin approves it.
  • You can preview a change first. X tools take a dry run where the platform supports it, and a dry run never needs approval because it changes nothing.
  • A change that asks to go past a platform safety limit (a large budget jump, for example) always waits for a person, admins included.
  • A change runs once. After it runs, the server reads the object back and SeePM shows what the platform now has. If that differs from what you asked, SeePM says so and does not send the change again.
  • Money-setting tools take the currency you meant.

X login

Sign in with X. X's Ads API accepts only OAuth 1.0a, so SeePM keeps your token and token secret in its vault. SeePM's own app keys are never sent with a tool call. You can disconnect it from Settings at any time. If a client has only one X account, SeePM uses it without you naming it.

Price

Starter, $20 USD a month, or Plus, $100 USD a month. Not on the free connector. Claude and ChatGPT bill their own plans.

Questions

Does it work with X's OAuth 1.0a?

Yes. That is the only login X's Ads API accepts, and SeePM handles it for you: you sign in with X once.

Is the X Ads MCP free?

No. X Ads is on Starter, $20 USD a month, which includes every connected platform, GA4 and the SeePM app.

Can it delete campaigns?

No. The X server has no delete tools. It can pause and activate campaigns and line items.

Does the X Ads MCP work with ChatGPT?

Yes. Add SeePM as a connector in ChatGPT; connectors need Developer mode, which comes with the Pro, Business, Enterprise and Edu plans. Codex works from the terminal.
