Google Ads MCP server

SeePM is a Google Ads MCP server: it connects your Google Ads accounts to Claude, ChatGPT and any other MCP client, with your own Google sign-in. Ask about campaigns, search terms, keywords and budgets in plain language, and make changes that Google validates before they run. Google Ads works on the free connector.

What you can ask

Plain-language requests, the way you would ask a colleague. The label says which kind of work it is.

  • Which search terms spent money in the last 30 days without a conversion?Negative keyword review
  • How is Performance Max doing this month compared with last month?Performance Max audit
  • Are we on pace to spend this month's budget?Budget pacing
  • Find keyword ideas for this client's buyer personas, with search volume.Keyword research
  • Add these five negative keywords to the Brand campaign.Change
  • Raise the daily budget of this campaign to 50,000 ARS.Change, in the account's currency

What it can read and change

As of October 2026, SeePM's Google Ads MCP has 60+ tools that read and change, plus a governed request for anything the other tools do not cover.

Tool total from SeePM's tool manifest on October 30, 2026, rounded down to the nearest 5. The generic request is classified per call: a read stays a read, and a write is checked like any other change.

How changes stay safe

  • You decide who changes what. Each tool has a risk level, and your organization sets each level to auto, ask or deny per role. A change on "ask" waits in the approvals queue until a leader of the client or an admin approves it.
  • You can preview a change first. Google Ads tools take a dry run where the platform supports it, and a dry run never needs approval because it changes nothing.
  • A change that asks to go past a platform safety limit (a large budget jump, for example) always waits for a person, admins included.
  • A change runs once. After it runs, the server reads the object back and SeePM shows what the platform now has. If that differs from what you asked, SeePM says so and does not send the change again.
  • Google checks a change before it runs, so a preview is answered by Google itself.
  • A change that sets money needs the currency you meant. SeePM reads the account's real currency and refuses a mismatch before anything is sent. It never converts.

Google Ads login

Sign in with Google (OAuth). Google verified SeePM's OAuth app for the Google Ads scope on October 13, 2026, so you do not see the "unverified app" screen. You can disconnect it from Settings at any time. If a client has only one Google Ads account, SeePM uses it without you naming it.

Price

Free connector in Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT and Codex. Starter, $20 USD a month, adds every other platform, GA4 and the SeePM app. Claude and ChatGPT bill their own plans.

Questions

Is the Google Ads MCP free?

Yes, on the free connector inside Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT or Codex: Google Ads reporting and changes, with your business notes. Other channels, GA4 and the SeePM app start at Starter, $20 USD a month.

Do I need a Google Ads developer token?

No. SeePM calls the Google Ads API through its own Google Cloud project, which has Standard access. You only sign in with Google.

Can it change my campaigns without asking?

It changes only what you ask for, and only what your SeePM role allows. A change set to "ask" waits in the approvals queue until a leader of the client or an admin approves it.

Does the Google Ads MCP work with ChatGPT?

Yes. Add SeePM as a connector in ChatGPT; connectors need Developer mode, which comes with the Pro, Business, Enterprise and Edu plans. Codex works from the terminal.
